The short lecture involved the presentation of various consulting frameworks used for analyzing different businesses and industries. This has been very helpful, since it does not only help us apply this knowledge to our classes, but also to case interviews for job applications with consulting firms. Moreover, the session involved a business case simulation taken from real business problems presented to L.E.K. We worked in groups to analyze the information provided and develop our own insights and approach on how to come up with recommendations for this specific client.
Overall, this session was more than just a lecture, but an exposure to the real business world and consultancy that we could have not gotten elsewhere.
