Many of us might have been longing for a lazy Sunday but that is definitely not the case for Sunday, July 31, 2011.

We BBA 17 were gathered together at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel for a Graduation Orientation organized by the BBA program with the purpose of getting us ready to enter the workforce.  It was an unusual sight to see our friends all dressed up in suits looking all professional.  As always, we were greeted by our lovely BBA offices who were urging us to register while our minds already went the other way as we had a lot of catching up to do.  Ajarn Jeab (Asst. Prof. Dr. Orapan Yolrabil) started the event by welcoming all of us from the exchange program back to the BBA family and followed by our beloved Ajarn James (Ajarn James P. Fitzpatrick)who gave us an encouraging and reassuring speech that we would definitely have a job after we graduate! No worries everyone! We then were given a precious opportunity to network with our alumni and gain a lot of advices on what it is like to be working in the real world.

After bombarding the alumni with tons of questions, it was time for lunch and thank you to Ajarn Prapoch Mayura who kindly taught us step by step on Business Dining Etiquette.  I am sure without Ajarn Prapoch’s lesson that day, many of us would have had an embarrassing experience with those many forks, knives and spoons! After lunch, it was an introduction of a new face of BBA website as well as the Career Center.  You could hear the Ohhh, Ahhh and Woww from all the tables and this reminds us why BBA stands for “Be the Best Always” and that is because we have all the ajarns and BBA offices who really give their all to paving a way for our future.  The day ended with Company Exhibition. We got to ask around, talk to potential employers and learned a great deal about those companies.

On the behalf of BBA 17, I would like to thank all the Ajarns, BBA office and everyone involved in making this event happen.  Our hearts were touched by the efforts and the thoughts that have been put into making us proud to be in the best Business Program in Thailand. THANK YOU SO MUCH NA KA. We promise you that we would keep this grateful feeling in our heart and shout it out to the world that “WE LOVE BBA!!”
