BBA Thammasat, 2011 Asia Pacific Global Investment Research Challenge Champion

Our BBA CFA team did us proud once again by beating other 15 societies from Greater China, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Australia and ASEAN to emerge as the Champion for Asia Pacific Region, Global IRC at the competition last Friday 25 February 2011. The team advanced from the semi-final round to compete with six teams in the final round. The finalist teams were University of Philippines (Philippines), Massey University (New Zealand), National University of Science and Technology (Pakistan), Indian Institute of Management (India), and University Sri Jayawardenepura (Sri Lanka) and Thammasat University (Thailand).

The Thammasat team will be representing Asia Pacific region to compete for Global IRC at Omaha, Nebraska in early April where four winners from four regions will compete in the Global Champion Challenge. They will also be meeting Warren Buffet.
This team consists of Pisit Putthacharoenwat, Aekapop Guruvanich, Sasirat Kittichungchit, Pornchanok Sophonkiattikun, Poonpitchaya Pantitanonta, accompanied by Assoc.Prof. Dr.Pantisa Pavabutr (Advisor).
