15 years of BBA

One Big Happy Family

By Mr. Noppajak Attanon–Aim, BBA#12

As an MC, Master of Ceremony to everyone else, but Microphone controller to me, for BBA Decade and A Half, History In The Making (15 years anniversary), there are several advantages for me. First, I get to appear on the big screen more than anyone.

Another great advantage which is far more important than the first one is that for being an MC is just like Associate Professor Dr. Kulpatra Sirodrom said for the opening ceremony “BBA is a one big happy family” which I must admit I was highly privileged to be one amongst not many to see those happy faces for a long time.

A very simple but memorable party started early around 6 PM with a live band playing several acoustic love songs. The show started with “Do Rae Me Dance” from BBA#12 thanks to great professional singing from  Fon (Miss Thaiyamon  Kanchana-Alongkorn) BBA#12 and excellent dancing from eight most beautiful girls in BBA#12, the show spiced everything up.  This was followed by an awesome hip-hop show from “Beam (Mr. Kittipon  Nampitch) – Meaw (Mr. Nattavuth  Mapaisansin) – Mark (Mr. Vidsanu  Vongsurakrai) featuring  “Aaylicia” from  BBA#13. ”

The next show was a very very sexy dance from BBA#14 which included “Numtan (Miss Pimpat  Jangrew) – May (Mr. Maytee  Suksarn) – Waen (Miss Kanyakorn  Kunakorn) – Jan (Miss Salin  Iamvasant) – Mew (Miss Nutthakarn  Klovuthi-anun) – Sumo.”  I think the BBA alumni were amazed by great choreography.  The last show was from BBA#15 which simply proved that newcomers are not new at all with the “Mario Show” that apply several techniques of light and sounds which reminded us of the Mario Brothers VDO Game.

As an MC, I have a really great time working with P’Gub (Mr. Ratha  Kuladilogsomphan) BBA#7 whose enthusiasm and sense of humor greatly bring everyone to focus on the whole party. Therefore, the biggest task for me was when I have to sell special Bingo tickets which I have to convince P’BBA to bid the ticket at about at least Bt 500 for a ticket!! Surprisingly, every “Roon pi” from every tables were willing to help out BBA#15 – the youngest blood of BBA to meet their activity budget. My most memorable Bingo sales experience was with Ajarn James Fitzpatrick who responded to my question “How much will you pay?” very well by replying “It depends on how much you need…” J

The party ended with a terrific slide show created by Nu (Mr. Anuthep  Ariyaphanneekun) BBA#13 –The 10-minute slide show reminded us how big and happy the BBA family is. The slides show really impressed everyone at the party and there were tears on some faces. At the end of the party I get to see “Roon pi” and “Roon nong” who have been apart talking to each other with big smiles on their faces. I get to see Professors and students talking casually which rarely happens in everyday life. I get to see friends smile and take picture with each others that I hope a night like this will last forever.
