LO212 Introduction to Logistics Management Field Trip at Unilever Network Thailand

On 17th of October 2016, Introduction to logistics management class received such a great opportunity to visit multinational consumer goods company, Unilever. The company plays a big role in Thai people life as company who manufactured daily product such as Ponds, Sunsilk, Walls, Breeze, Lux, Knorr, and Bestfood. We receive such an honor and kindness from Khun Monchai Dechojarassri, Managing Director of Unilever Network to introduce Unilever to us. We have learned about the brand, the product line and supply chain management. Furthermore, we also get to know about the on-shelf availability, the omni channel and the digital platform through the real life case.
We also got to try Unilever new product, Beyonde drink, the calcium refreshment drink under Unilevers network, Aviance. Aviance is the premium beauty and health drink brand from Unilevers world class development and research center which launched in 2000.
            Before we left, Khun Monchai took us to a quick tour around Unilever headquarter. We entered into the kitchen room where chef team use to create a meal for Knorr product. We also see Aviance product showroom and receive Aviance sample to try at home.
On behalf of introduction to logistics management class, this field trip cant happen without our professor, Ajarn Suntichai Kotcharin and the support of BBA program.  Moreover, we would like to thank Khun Monchai for providing such an ultimate experience for us to learn more about the supply chain management through the world class company, Unilever.
