On Friday, August 25, 2017, BBA had arranged a Career Exposition Program which focuses on consulting career. The following consulting firms were invited to our campus: Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, Roland Berger, and Sasin Management Consulting.
During the first hour, we had alumni career discussion. BBA alumnus who are currently at top consulting firms shared with us their real-life work experience. The stories shared with us were not only the benefits and upsides of their work life, but also the downturns and the hardships. This way, students get a glimpse of how it is like to be in their shoes.
The program was followed by an information session which Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, and Roland Berger gave us a full presentation of their company. They shared with us their company culture, types of work employees will be doing, opportunities they provide, career path in the company, and finally, how could a student join and be a part of their firm.

Later that evening, the teams from each company and students were invited to a networking session. Any questions from students were very welcomed and explained in detail by the teams.
As a student who had attended the program, I feel grateful for this opportunity BBA had provided. Career Exposition 2017 had helped students explore further and understand the nature of their possible future career. I believe this program had helped many to decide whether they would like to pursue a job in the consulting industry, and if so, they were guided to how they would do it.
