An objective of this workshop was to provide basic knowledge and overall understanding of AEC as well as how to get ready for it. The lecturer started with the history of ASEAN, its goals and its vision. After that was followed by the background of economic integration, its pros and cons, along with the status of ASEAN in this aspect. He then pointed out the impact of AEC on world trade, especially the impact on trade of Thailand, what Thailand already done well and what Thailand still lacks of.
The session was very enjoyable since the lecturer keep encouraged in-class interaction and discussion throughout the three-hour lecture. Moreover, he also brought additional documents for those who were interested. This is a great opportunity for us to learn about what we cannot study in regular classes. We really appreciate BBA program for this valuable session and also would like to thank the lecturer for his wonderful workshop.
